History of Olefit
This discipline was created in Chicago in 2014 by Paloma Gómez and Luis Lorente, who share a great love of art and a common enjoyment of physical well-being and sport.
The project arose from an idea at a dance studio at Northeastern Illinois University after an intense flamenco class. Seeing the satisfaction on the students’ faces, the two of them thought that it would be fantastic to create a new mode of fitness set to the rhythms of the most festive flamenco music, guiding physical activity based on Spanish dance movements.
That was the starting point for the creation of Olefit.
